Our pile driving barge is capable of driving 50' class 3 utility grade poles. We engineer and design our docks to have the strongest structural support base by utilizing our vibrating pile driving unit to place poles exactly and straight, with the highest drag coefficient for removal on the river. Using vibratory technology essentially liquefies the surrounding soil as the pile is set deeper and deeper to refusal.
Hammer driven pile are wobbled and beaten into place. This not only structurally weakens piling before they are ever built on, but it leaves gaps all around the piling in the soil, allowing it to be pulled back up easily in the event of water raises and flooding. We know your dock is a big investment. Don't let others compromise its structure before it is even built.
