Redi-Rock Block Seawalls

Redi-Rock Block is a nice alternative for shoreline stabilization. It is more expensive than traditional methods, however, it is a very attractive and effective finished product. We are a dealer, distributor/installer of this product. The only county recognized mechanical stabilization wall here in Knox County - its use is widespread.

Bio-Stabilization

The least expensive and the least effective alternative, Bio-Stabilization is not suggested for any main channel frontage, as by its own design it will eventually break down and will need the most maintenance and repair. Bio-Stabilization is achieved by stacked logs and downed trees along the shoreline and stacking them into place. This is not very attractive and I can't find anyone who (after a substantial period of time), is happy with this method. B & J does not suggest Bio-Stabilization as an effective alternative, however, we will, upon customers demand install it to the highest degree of its effectiveness.
